David Keel currently resides in Chicago, and has been painting since 1998. He has worked in a number of mediums, but primarily uses oil on canvas currently. He is founder and co-director of Comfort Station, an art space in the Logan Square neighborhood. He is also head preparator at Maya Polsky Gallery. He attended University of Kansas studying sculpture, printmaking, and painting.
